ROAD CLOSURES – JANUARY 2024

HIGHWAY AND FOOTWAY SURFACING AND PATCHING WORKS – ROAD CLOSURES

Resurfacing or patching works (including white lining and stud works, if required) as well as any preparatory works (i.e. drainage, kerbing) if required.

The below list of surface patching schemes are taking place as part of a large programme of works across the county. The start date for this scheme may change depending on how works are progressing elsewhere in the county. All changes will be highlighted on the advance warning signs, which you’ll find onsite at the roadworks.

C1190 Breinton

Road closed from Wednesday 3rd January to (and including) Friday 5th January, between 8am and 4pm each day.

Surface patching works.

C1283 Rudhall

Road closed from Monday 8th January to (and including) Friday 12th January, between 8am and 4pm each day.

Surface patching works.

U91607 Stansbatch

Road closed from Monday 8th January to (and including) Wednesday 10th January, between 8am and 4pm each day.

Surface patching works.

DRAINAGE WORKS – ROAD CLOSURES

Improvements or repairs to the local drainage system. May involve excavation of the carriageway.

C1019 Pipe Aston

Road closed from Tuesday 2nd January to (and including) Wednesday 17th January, for 24 hours each day.

Drainage improvement works.

Little Marcle Road, Ledbury

Road closed from Tuesday 2nd January to (and including) Friday 26th January, for 24 hours each day.

Drainage investigation and improvement works.

MISCELLANEOUS ROAD CLOSURES, EMERGENCY CLOSURES & OTHER PROJECTS

Southbank Road, Hereford

Road closed from Monday 29th January to (and including) Tuesday 30th January, for 24 hours each day.

Stone wall repairs.

Bury Hill Lane, Weston Under Penyard

Emergency road closure due to flooding.

Drag Road BYWAY, Symonds Yat

Emergency road closure due to movement of the embankment and road.
