Roman Credenhill

Credenhill and the immediate area is steeped in Roman history. Two archaeological digs have taken place on the Roman Park and there is a website dedicated to the project which uncovers the history of Credenhill if that is “too much information” for you then maybe you could follow the walk created which gives a brief detail of the history and relates it to what you can see today – highly recommended on a sunny day!
